Jesus performed miracles that revealed: • The Power of God • The Kingdom of Heaven ⸻ Three Key Miracles of Jesus 1. Feeding the Five Thousand ‭‭Matthew‬ ‭14‬:‭13‬-‭21‬ ‭NKJV‬‬ “When Jesus heard it, He departed from there by boat to a deserted place by Himself. But when the multitudes heard it, they followed Him on foot from the cities. And when Jesus went out He saw a great multitude; and He was moved with compassion for them, and healed their sick. When it was evening, His disciples came to Him, saying, “This is a deserted place, and the hour is already late. Send the multitudes away, that they may go into the villages and buy themselves food.” But Jesus said to them, “They do not need to go away. You give them something to eat.” And they said to Him, “We have here only five loaves and two fish.” He said, “Bring them here to Me.” Then He commanded the multitudes to sit down on the grass. And He took the five loaves and the two fish, and looking up to heaven, He BLESSED and BROKE and GAVE the loaves to the disciples; and the disciples gave to the multitudes. So they all ate and were filled, and they took up twelve baskets full of the fragments that remained. Now those who had eaten were about five thousand men, besides women and children.” ‭‭Matthew‬ ‭14‬:‭13‬-‭21‬ ‭NKJV‬‬ • Five loaves and two fish, Jesus fed thousands God multiplies what we place in His hands! Jesus is our source of supernatural provision. ⸻ 2. Healing Everywhere “Then He called His twelve disciples together and gave them power and authority over all demons, and to cure diseases. He sent them to preach the kingdom of God and to heal the sick. And He said to them, “Take nothing for the journey, neither staffs nor bag nor bread nor money; and do not have two tunics apiece. “Whatever house you enter, stay there, and from there depart. And whoever will not receive you, when you go out of that city, shake off the very dust from your feet as a testimony against them.” So they departed and went through the towns, preaching the gospel and healing everywhere.” ‭‭Luke‬ ‭9‬:‭1‬-‭6‬ ‭NKJV‬‬ Nothing is impossible for Christ to restore. ⸻ 3. Raising Lazarus from the Dead ‭‭John‬ ‭11‬:‭38‬-‭44‬ ‭NKJV‬‬ “Then Jesus, again groaning in Himself, came to the tomb. It was a cave, and a stone lay against it. Jesus said, “Take away the stone.” Martha, the sister of him who was dead, said to Him, “Lord, by this time there is a stench, for he has been dead four days.” Jesus said to her, “Did I not say to you that if you would believe you would see the glory of God?” Then they took away the stone from the place where the dead man was lying. And Jesus lifted up His eyes and said, “Father, I thank You that You have heard Me. And I know that You always hear Me, but because of the people who are standing by I said this, that they may believe that You sent Me.” Now when He had said these things, He cried with a loud voice, “Lazarus, come forth!” And he who had died came out bound hand and foot with graveclothes, and his face was wrapped with a cloth. Jesus said to them, “Loose him, and let him go.”” ‭‭John‬ ‭11‬:‭38‬-‭44‬ ‭NKJV‬‬ Jesus called Lazarus out of the grave, showing His authority over death itself. No situation is beyond the POWER of God! Jesus is our source of supernatural provision. Nothing is impossible for Christ to restore. ⸻ Truths That Enable Miracles 1. Relationship with the Father Jesus depended completely on God. 2. Compassion for People His miracles flowed from love and mercy. 3. Faith in God’s Authority Jesus spoke and acted with confidence in God’s power. ⸻ How Miracles Can Operate in Our Lives 1. Stay CONNECTED to God through PRAYER and His WORD. 2. Develop FAITH that BELIEVES God can do the impossible. 3. Act in OBEDIENCE when God directs you. When believers live in relationship with God, when we walk in compassion, we act in faith, then position ourselves to see the supernatural power of God at work. ⸻ “Miracles happen when believers walk closely with God, move with compassion for people, and act in faith under the authority of Jesus Christ.” When FAITH meets the POWER of God, miracles happen.

3 Steps Closer Step 3: Worship the Lord ‭‭Psalms‬ ‭57‬:‭7‬-‭11‬ ‭NKJV‬‬ “My heart is steadfast, O God, my heart is steadfast; I will sing and give praise. Awake, my glory! Awake, lute and harp! I will awaken the dawn. I will praise You, O Lord, among the peoples; I will sing to You among the nations. For Your mercy reaches unto the heavens, And Your truth unto the clouds. Be exalted, O God, above the heavens; Let Your glory be above all the earth.” ‭‭Psalms‬ ‭57‬:‭7‬-‭11‬ ‭NKJV‬‬ Isaiah 6:1-3 John 4:24 “God is Spirit, and those who worship Him must worship in spirit and truth.” – John 4:24 • Prayer invites His presence • The Word reveals His will • But Worship brings us into His glory Worship is not a song we sing — it is a posture we live. Point 1: Worship Shifts the Atmosphere Psalm 22:3 – “But You are holy, enthroned in the praises of Israel.” Where worship rises, God manifests His presence. ‭‭Acts‬ ‭16‬:‭25‬-‭26‬ ‭NKJV‬‬ “But at midnight Paul and Silas were praying and singing hymns to God, and the prisoners were listening to them. Suddenly there was a great earthquake, so that the foundations of the prison were shaken; and immediately all the doors were opened and everyone’s chains were loosed.” ‭‭Acts‬ ‭16‬:‭25‬-‭26‬ ‭NKJV‬‬ How We Set an Atmosphere of Worship: 1. Intentional Preparation – We come expecting God to move. 2. Purity of Heart – Repentance clears the spiritual air. 3. Unity in Spirit – Corporate worship multiplies power. 4. Focused Attention – We remove distractions and magnify Him. Worship invites Heaven into Earth’s environment. ⸻ Point 2: Worship Repositions Our Heart Psalm 95:6 – “Oh come, let us worship and bow down; let us kneel before the Lord our Maker.” Worship is surrender. • Prayer is talking to God • Reading the Word is listening to God • Worship is yielding to God ⁃ When we bow, our pride breaks ⁃ When we lift our hands, we release control ⁃ When we declare His greatness, our problems shrink Worship recalibrates our focus: • From fear to faith • From anxiety to adoration • From self to Savior The closer we draw in worship, the more our hearts align with His heart. ⸻ Point 3: Worship Brings Intimacy With God James 4:8 – “Draw near to God and He will draw near to you.” Worship is relational, not ritual. In John 12, Mary broke the alabaster jar and poured costly perfume on Jesus’ feet. That was worship — • sacrificial • personal • intimate Worship says: • “You are worthy.” • “You are enough.” • “You are my first love.” When you worship: • You sense His peace. • You hear His voice clearer. • You experience His nearness. Worship moves us from knowing about God to experiencing God. ⸻ Closing Exhortation • Prayer opens the door. • The Word builds the foundation. • But Worship takes us into the Holy of Holies. We must grow deeper, stronger, and closer = we must become a WORSHIPING CHURCH, not just a singing church. Let us: • Worship privately during the week • Worship passionately on Every Service • Worship consistently in every season When we worship… • Atmospheres shift. • Hearts surrender. • God draws near.
