in the book of Daniel we find this young man had the audacity to believe in his God. This is the God of the creator of the universe.
“Then this Daniel distinguished himself above the governors and satraps, because an excellent spirit was in him; and the king gave thought to setting him over the whole realm.”
Daniel 6:3 NKJV
We find that he operated in the spirit of excellence. What does that mean? A spirit of excellence?
Webster dictionary defines Excellence as the quality of being outstanding or extremely good.
Outstanding! Extremely good!
This quality of Daniel saw him through every type of challenge that was thrown his way. he was judged by his leaders. He was questioned by his king. His character was always add question. Yet his spirit of excellence continued to bring him to the king. Until he became the number two person and all of the reign of the kingdom.
