As we embark on this journey of LIFE together, I want to extend a warm invitation to you — whether you’re a long-time RGV’er or a present member of our beautiful Center Church family and somehow have been away from church for a while. Our doors are wide open, and our hearts are eager to welcome you back to a community Church filled with love, support, and faith on Sundays.
The Need for Community
In today’s fast-paced world, many feel isolated, even in crowded places. We were not created to walk through life alone. In Hebrews 10:24-25 (NKJV), we are reminded, “And let us consider one another in order to stir up love and good works, not forsaking the assembling of ourselves together, as is the manner of some, but exhorting one another, and so much the more as you see the Day approaching.” This scripture speaks to the heart of why community is vital. We gather not just for worship but to uplift one another, share our burdens, and celebrate our joys.
The Benefits of Church
1. Spiritual Growth: At church, we engage in worship and teaching that deepens our understanding of God’s Word. 2 Timothy 3:16-17 (NKJV) states, “All Scripture is given by inspiration of God, and is profitable for doctrine, for reproof, for correction, for instruction in righteousness, that the man of God may be complete, thoroughly equipped for every good work.” Here, we see that the teachings we receive can equip us for our daily lives.
2. Support System: Life can be challenging, and having a supportive community makes all the difference. In Galatians 6:2 (NKJV), we are encouraged to “Bear one another’s burdens, and so fulfill the law of Christ.” When we come together, we can share our struggles and help each other navigate through tough times.
3. Opportunities for Service: Being part of a church allows us to serve others and fulfill the calling God has placed on our lives. Ephesians 2:10 (NKJV) reminds us, “For we are His workmanship, created in Christ Jesus for good works, which God prepared beforehand that we should walk in them.” There’s joy and fulfillment in serving others, and church offers countless opportunities to do just that.
4. Connection to Christ: Ultimately, our relationship with Jesus is the cornerstone of our faith. In Matthew 18:20 (NKJV), Jesus assures us, “For where two or three are gathered together in My name, I am there in the midst of them.” When we gather as a church, we invite His presence into our lives, leading to transformation and hope.
An Invitation to Rediscover

Join us this Sunday at 11am, and let’s explore faith, fellowship, and the incredible blessings that come from being part of a loving community. Together, we can encourage one another, grow in our faith, and make a difference in our lives and the lives of those around us.
